Growing up on the shores of Lake Macquarie (NSW), Jordan was racing dinghies from the age of 7. He followed his passion for boats and yachting after school, completing his YachtMaster qualification before going on to skipper a high-latitude 60ft sailing yacht based out of Ushuaia, Argentina.
During this part of his career Jordan ran charters to Antarctica, Cape Horn and Patagonia, spending 10 years navigating this rugged and harsh environment. Jordan has successfully completed large ocean passages, including a 42-day trip from Newcastle (Australia) to Cape Horn (Chile) across the Southern Ocean.
During the Antarctic off-season Jordan was based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA) where he worked as a First Officer onboard various super yachts, chartering in the Caribbean and Bahamas as well as the US East Coast. In the super yacht industry, luxury experience and client satisfaction is paramount. As a result of this experience, Jordan excels at anticipating the needs of clients who wish to vacation in style and total comfort. Jordan also has experience sailing in Tahiti, Fiji, NZ, Australia and southeast Asia.
Jordan brings a unique combination of experience in a wide variety of sailing vessels and motor yachts, in both treacherous and idyllic conditions, and is well placed to advise potential and existing customers on the best boat for their needs.
He is passionate about beauty, premium quality and the functionality both Sabre and Back Cove yachts offer, as well as their ability to stand the test of time.
