This outstanding Back Cove 33 (hull #040) is a credit to her owners and a testament to the quality of Back Cove Yachts. Built in Maine USA and delivered new by us in 2008, GEMINI has had only two careful owners from new and has spent her entire life on Lake Macquarie.

Fastidiously maintained and continually upgraded since new, she is now seriously for sale.

Recent works include the addition of a new Kohler 5KVA Diesel Generator and all new batteries in 2022, new Glass Induction Cooktop ( Replaced original Gas Cooktop and associated fittings) , new LED Lighting, new Fusion Bluetooth Stereo with zones and subwoofer system and more.

Remarkably efficient, the Back Cove 33 is also far more economical to run than displacement cruisers at similar speeds. Yet, when desired, she will cruise effortlessly at continuous cruise speeds in excess of 20 knots with miserly fuel consumption.

Below deck the Back Cove 33 offers plenty of head and elbow room. With 6’ 5” of interior height she is one of the most spacious boats in her class. Forward is a large vee-berth which measures almost seven feet in length and in width. Unlike boats with island berths, this design offers the most flexible sleeping arrangement possible: without the filler there are two large single berths, and with the filler in place the crew can sleep athwartships or fore and aft. Below the berth top are several convenient drop in storage spaces and two large dovetailed drawers. Aft of the berth to starboard is a well proportioned, cedar lined hanging locker and to port is a comfortable lounge with handsome inlaid table that can convert for additional sleeping.

To starboard is an easily maintained head compartment enclosed with a beautifully curved cherry bulkhead. The head unit has a separate stall
shower – a feature rarely found in a 33 footer. Her fresh water flush head is a feature experienced boat owners will certainly appreciate.

On her helm deck, the sense of spaciousness is impressive. A raised dinette with an elegant inlaid table will seat four for dinner and can
also be converted to form an additional sleeping berth. This entire space is surrounded by large opening windows, as well as hatches in the overhead. To starboard is a well equipped galley with a deep stainless steel sink ( NEW TAPWARE RECENTLY FITTED)  cherry cabinets, dovetailed drawers, (NEW) microwave oven and two burner induction cooktop ( ALSO NEW)  A solid surface countertop adds to the beauty
and functionality of her bright and airy galley. When underway the standard Stidd helm chair ( NEW UPHOLSTERY)  is a superb and
comfortable chair that will help reduce fatigue for those who spend long periods at the helm. And to port, the mate’s seat is an equally comfortable
spot from which to enjoy the ride.
